- 4 November 1678 Journal of the House of Lords Vol.13

‘It is a pity,’ Mr. Phaire remarks, ‘that Sir Edmund’s letters, to the number of 104, are not in somebody’s hands that would oblige the world by publishing them. They contain many remarkable things, and the best and truest secret history in King Charles II.‘s reign.’

-Alexander Herbert Phaire “The Gentleman’s Magazine" 1744.

Mark Francis, bon-vivant, boulevardier, ex-KGB assassin and professional liar ("I'm a novelist - its what we do" he pleaded)

has uncovered Godfrey's legendary chest in a small shop off London's Portobello Road and is now able to reveal their contents to the World.

I have re vamped the website to promote the second edition with typos amended. The Amazon reviews have been very positive apart from criticism of the inadequate proof reading.

                                       I have amended & re-published  via createspace.
